Buddha Says

What Do You See?

What Do You See?

“If we could only see the miracle of a single flower clearly, our whole life would change.” Buddha

Not sure about you, but my days are a flurry of activity.  And I am fully aware that this busy pace can lead to many negative consequences.

And even in knowing and having awareness, it is still difficult to stop.

I find that what suffers most often in my family’s busy life (4 girls) is the relationship between husband & wife.

That relationship almost always takes the back seat as we fill our schedules with work, shuttling kids, running errands, etc. The challenge is making the time to spend quality time together (uninterrupted).

And even when you make the plans things happen.

If you’re not careful you can drift apart.

We need to make it happen.

    Bingo.

No one is immune from this phenomenon.

Wholeheartedly agree, Skip, we need to make it happen.

  3. AMEN Skip!!! Getting caught up in the lives of our kids is rewarding but if we lose sight of our priorities, our spousal relationships can and do suffer. It’s not necessarily irreperable harm but a distance can develop. Pray and act!

It’s one of the crosses that parents bear.

    All parents.

And it’s something parents need to figure out.

    All parents. :)
