Pine Island Southern tip — We visited Pine Island’s northern and southern tip (above) yesterday. Pine Island is Florida’s largest at 18 miles x 2 miles. It ends here. Everything eventually comes to an end. It was an hour drive from Sanibel.

PS. In 1996 my Dad, 58 years old, was diagnosed with early onset, rapid-progression Alzheimer’s disease. My 57th birthday was a couple weeks ago.

When you reach a point where you just want to scream or fall apart, the next step after rethinking everything is deciding how badly you want to change.

And the epiphany is this:

It’s the same thing when i talk to a CEO, “How bad do you want it?”

You have to want it.

Nothing is more important than wanting it.

Without the declaration of “whatever it takes”, change will not happen.

Wish i had better news, but that’s the reality.

Write like you mean it

Sanibel Island Pizza — Tradition on every Writer’s Retreat to Sanibel is to stop at Island Pizza on the way to the beach cottage.

Cheryl has been working for me off and on since i first began in 2008, even before i incorporated as an LLC.

This past week she spent hours editing (rewriting and making artistic enhancements) much of the new website copy.

Why?

Because she thought the current copy and layout could be improved.
